Of Flint and Fortune released yesterday, and I'm immensely pleased it's out in the world. As I've said, it's the first part of a two-part arc; even though there will be a small wait between this and Of Valentines and Visions, it'll be worth it.
I'm looking forward to both this and its sibling story, Of Valentines and Visions, because they have such an old-school Holmesian vibe and give us a bigger picture of Paul Apollyon and Alastair Gow. Which, in turn, adds so much to the lore already within Threads of Wyrd.
I wanted to bring it to everyone's attention, because those of us writing and creating so-called degenerate art must hold the line in dark times, that Like Silk Breathing is officially part of the Love Without Limits collection via Barnes and Noble. Click through, click through!
How are we all doing in these... unprecedented times? I genuinely want to know.
Spoiler: I'm a huge fan of nonlinear narratives, unreliable narrators, and what might be considered "challenging" story structures.
However you read it, though, it is worth reading. It's a story woven with self-acceptance, and earnestness, both of which I find sorely lacking in these strange times.
